Start your day with stretching
How many times did you wake up in the morning feeling all tighten up and stiff? I bet at least once! The secret of waking up always from a right foot is short and easy - stretching.
When you are asleep, your muscles lose tone and fluid tends to pool along your back. Morning stretching helps to move it back to its original position. It keeps muscles ready to extend all the way, and it boosts your energy and confidence for the day.
It will take only a few minutes each morning to complete the following exercises, but you will feel the difference right away!
Start your stretching routine with a child’s pose. It will stretch your hips, pelvis, thighs, ankles, and spine while reducing stress and fatigue.
Then continue with a cat-cow pose. It will strengthen and stretches your spine and neck.
Continue with a downward-facing dog pose to reset your nervous system and energize the body.
After, stretch your side body, hamstrings, and hips by doing a one-legged dog pose.
Increase your confidence and flexibility with a warrior pose, also known as a power pose.
Finish your morning stretch with a mountain pose and a standing forward bend.
